  This review is not a reflection of the police officers but more of those working the front desk when you walk in. I made a phone call to ask about fingerprinting, and they hung up on me mid-sentence. When I arrived, one lady interrupted me before I could even finish my question about when the officer would be available to come take my fingerprints. They seemed bored, and uninterested in their job. I def did not feel welcomed. This would mark the second time that I am experiencing this kind of lackluster service from front office staff. I must emphasize that this is by far no reflection of the police officers. They do an amazing job and I truly appreciate their dedication to serving the citizens of Downers Grove.

  they are so respectable ..I may not be the best driver with ...I'll admit a DUI but they are still extremely courteous and respectful I left my briefcase with valuable info and electronics they called my home their was nothing from inside my briefcase with a home number I know they have their ways but to call at almost 9 at night ....incredible. I don't remember any personal information that I can account for that would give them that information. Yet they called my home and said not to worry it is at their station waiting. As an attorney who usually has to go to court for and with or against law officers; mostly state and Chicago police, BUT the DGPD know the meaning of SERVE and PROTECT. I believe they should be an example of what true police officers do and risk their lives. if you live in Downers consider you and your families blessed
